Bushcraft for Wellbeing

Join this new course combining mindful activities and bushcraft. Immersed in nature, you can slow down, connect to other people and learn new, empowering skills.

This course is currently delivered free (October/November 2021).

Bushcraft is the art of using the resources around us in a natural environment to survive and thrive; it is a perfect way to connect with and re-discover your own place in nature.

In this group we will be exploring a range of bushcraft skills including firelighting and using tools such as knife and an axe to craft, all in a safe and supported way.

Importantly, we will be taking time to slow down, enjoy and understand the processes as we learn them, taking time to notice, connect with, and understand the environment we are in. In the process of doing that we aim to provide a supportive environment where we can, as a group and individually, learn skills but also recognise our own strengths.

For anyone 18 years and over. The sessions do not require any previous knowledge or skills, we will induct you in the processes involved.
