Welcome
Our aim is to create community and belonging in and with nature.
We are a Community Interest Company (CIC) which means 100% of our profits are invested back to give even more people the chance to experience the benefits of spending time in nature first hand.
Our vision is to have people in the community feeling connected to nature on their doorstep for health and wellbeing. We aim to be an integral hub for communities to meet and take part in meaningful and quality experiences that result in a true sense of belonging in the local landscape and with others.
Our mission is to improve access to countryside, working with key partners to address inequality of access and provide inclusive, quality experiences for diverse communities including those in more urban areas.
We do this through nature play, the Arts, Forest School, Bushcraft, heritage crafts and woodland skills, wellbeing sessions, volunteering and training opportunities.
Underpining this are our core values:
- Integrity
- Empowerment
- Creativity
- Community
- Diversity & Inclusion
- Person-centred
- Cooperative working
- Sustainability
Find us
We deliver most of our sessions from our site at Hailey Wood on the Bathurst Estate which is easily accessible from Stroud, Cirencester, Gloucester, Cheltenham and Tetbury, but we also offer sessions and workshops in and with the community.
How it all began
Into Nature was started in 2019 by two friends, both Forest School providers: Carrie Roet from All Seasons Forest School and Britta Lippiatt from Nature Connections and has evolved to working in collaboration with other practitioners and partners to provide our programmes.
Together, we aim to make our offerings accessible for all ages and backgrounds, bringing the benefits of nature for to everyone. Meet our team here.
