Wild Woods Story Adventures for 8-12 year olds
Venue: Hailey Wood Time: 9 – 3:15 Pricing: £30 per child; low cost places available
During the holidays from Easter until October Half Term we offer a number of story days, designed to nurture creativity, confidence & friendship through connecting to nature. The days are led by Laura Francis, Dramatherapist and Environmental Arts Therapist, and supported by our partner Forest School Leaders.
On each day the group will bring a folk or traditional tale to life with the woods. We will explore the story and its themes in nature through playing, connecting with the woods, art-making and crafting. Our day will culminate in an enactment, where we will find our own way to step into parts of the story that call us (rather than ‘acting’). In this way we will play the story together, and discover what it holds for each of us.
