HAILEY WOOD
Part of the Bathurst Estate, our site is part of a large compartment of woodland just outside of Cirencester. We are really lucky in that our site has two distinct parts – on one side we have majestic beech trees which, in late spring, boast magical carpets of bluebells; on the other side we have conifer plantation interspersed with birch and hazel.
We have a basecamp with roundhouse shelter for wet weather. There is designated parking available at the sawmill. A compost toilet is available on site. Our basecamp is a short walk from parking along a woodland track.
Directions
Hailey Wood Sawmill, Quaker Row, GL7 6LA
Please do have a look on a map and follow the directions rather than the postcode!
From the A419, turn off into Quaker Row towards Coates. Take the first turning to the right into Hailey Wood Sawmill. Drive slowly straight through the sawmill – we park on the right-hand side where the big barn is. If you find yourself in the woods you have gone too far!
