About
Rococo Garden Sprites gives parents/carers and their children the opportunity to meet, explore and play in the wonderful surroundings of the Rococo Garden in Painswick.Â
We take a stroll through the garden to the enchanted woodland where we play, explore and create some natural crafts. The sessions are a mixture of guided activities and free play for which we have a range of resources on hand.
The Rococo Garden
The Rococo Garden is a truly wonderful place. Situated in a hidden valley in Painswick, it is bursting with character, flowers and wildlife.
There is always something new to discover every week – different flowers opening up, weird and wonderful minibeasts in the undergrowth, fruit developing on the trees… But there are also some firm favourites to revisit – the amazing follies, the pond life, the adventure playground in the woodland…
The Rococo Garden is a popular tourist destination and we are very lucky to have been working with the garden since March 2017. Nature Connections runs the weekly Rococo Garden Sprites outdoor parent & toddler group on a Tuesday morning and regularly designs their holiday trails for families.
There is plenty of easy parking, toilets and a great cafe. It is also possible to reach the garden with public transport from Stroud and Cheltenham via bus number 61 – it is a roughly 15 minute walk from Painswick.
For more information about the garden, head to their website.
